Hi Mark I have a Pilot Press site and use Office Autopilot to feed the emails through and manage some added fields. I have added fields for a goal setting tool on my site. Members can enter their goals and then bring the summary back up on a webpage using the OA fields that I have paced in a WordPress page. At the moment if a user is logged in and is looking at a field on a page populated with their data and then another user logs in they end up seeing the other users data. This is a big issue and I need to resolve it quickly. Any thoughts? |

Hi Mark I have had a look at WP and OA and for some reason the App ID and the API keys are different. Don’t know how that happened as I have never been in there since set up. Could this be affecting the login and what will happen if I change the WP ID and key? Regards

Thanks for your question! Let’s start with the second part first. The App ID and the API Key are two different things. The correct ones are found under your WordPress integration page in the Admin section of Office Autopilot, and these should match the fields in your Pilot Press settings. These are probably fine already, because if they’re wrong, no data will show up no matter what. Regarding your main question, how are you testing this? If you’re testing this on your own computer, you’ll need to use two different browser brands on your computer at the same time, e.g. Chrome and Safari. You need to be 100% certain you are actually “logged out” of WordPress in each browser before you test. Simply closing all your WordPress windows does not put that instance of WordPress in a logged out state. In many custom themed WordPress sites, the default logout link no longer shows up anywhere. For your tests, if you make the Admin Bar viewable, you’ll have a logout option at the top of your page. Once you’re 100% sure you’re logged out in both browsers, then you can conduct your tests. Let’s see what happens after you try these steps. |

I asked Simon to try reverting back to Pilot Press 1.5.3. That solved the problem for now. Office Autopilot tech is looking into the issue in their 1.5.4 version.

Hello Mark Do you know how OA tech are going with the login problem on 1.5.4? I am putting up a new site and don’t want to use it if it is not resolved. Cheers Simon |
